Today, I’m asking you, and all Crusaders, to go ALL IN.
All year, our student-athletes have dedicated themselves to looking towards the future, growing stronger as individuals and teammates athletically, academically and personally.
With fortitude, we are continuing to prepare our 700 Crusaders to compete at the highest level. Just as they are committed to training and learning, to capitalizing on the opportunities in front of them, we are committed to our vision – delivering a transformative student-athlete experience driven by competitive success.
Year after year, regardless of the circumstances, one thing remains constant — the strength of Crusaders when we go ALL IN for one another. Every dollar you give today will be dedicated to continuing our tradition of developing champions. And today, thanks to the Hope + Access campaign, all new and increased gifts are being matched 100% for financial aid.
Together, we are strong. Together, we shape our future. Together, let’s go ALL IN for Crusader student-athletes.
Go Cross Go!

The Holy Cross women’s golf program shares in the excitement that is so prevalent throughout the school in returning to competition. Recognition has to be given to the athletic administration for advocating for the student-athletes at Holy Cross and making the spring season a possibility.
The women’s program will be embarking upon a five-event schedule this spring, culminating with the Patriot League Championships at the venerable Saucon Valley Golf Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This year’s team will be highlighted by new faces as we move past the pandemic and the brilliant contributions which were made by recent graduate Jackie Gonzalez ’20, fellow teammate and co-captain, Maddy Belden ’20, and Stephanie Brown ’20. This year’s team will be led by senior co-captains Lauren Schonewolf and Emily Rodricks who have been four-year members of the team. Fellow senior, Kit Mullen, will also be a leader this year.
The team will have a very youthful look with three freshmen joining the team and are expected to be major contributors. Liz Garfield, Bridget Hayden and Tate Hadges will be given many opportunities this spring season to jump-start their promising careers at Holy Cross. Junior Katya King is also expected to be a force within the Patriot League and has considerable collegiate experience under her belt as she was a starter at perennial power, Flagler University, prior to transferring to the colder climate of Worcester. Fellow Florida native, sophomore Antonia Herrera, also brings experience to the team as we have a well-rounded mixture of veterans and new players all looking to contribute.
The season commences on March 22nd with a one-day event hosted by the University of Hartford and we are hopeful that Mother Nature will cooperate and maybe provide us with a mild March and April so that we can take advantage of lost time. We are grateful for the opportunity to compete and will stay diligent in staying safe and respectful of this virus that has had such a profound effect upon so many lives. We thank those who have continued to support the golf programs at Holy Cross and we are never more mindful and appreciative of that support during these uncertain times.
We very much look forward to this spring campaign and look to use this as a building block for future successes.

1400 days ago by Sarah PhippsWe are in awe of and so very grateful for our supporters who continue to go All In for our student-athletes. Your generosity allows us to prepare our Crusaders for a stronger tomorrow as they strive to succeed and lead in athletics, in the classroom and in their communities.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your support! Holy Cross would not be what it is today without the participation and dedication of Crusader Nation.
Holy Cross student-athletes are dedicated and resilient. When our world — and in turn, our campus life — changed this year, we adapted. Through challenge after challenge, our commitment to our education and our athletics never faltered. And today, we remain focused and hopeful for the future.
This is why we are asking the Holy Cross community to come together right now in support of our student-athletes.
Whether you make a gift to the Fund for Athletics Excellence or to one of our 27 varsity teams, your generosity helps position us for an even stronger return to competition.
In the face of unprecedented challenges, we know that one thing remains constant — the strength of Crusaders when we go all in to support one another. On this Giving Tuesday, your gift is for our future. With your support, our next great moment awaits.
