Hope is what Holy Cross inspires within us. Hope is our bedrock, our collective power. Hope is our community reaching out, embracing, celebrating each person’s talent, and each student’s experience. Working for and with others, we carry the hope of a brighter future.
Your gift to the College today provides hope and access to our students – future leaders
who will meet the challenges of tomorrow with energy, innovation and justice.
We begin this day with tremendous support.
All day, all gifts to the College will be matched 100% up to $1 million to benefit financial aid.
Every gift made on April 16 will have twice the impact!
We are prioritizing giving options and funds that directly support today’s students, especially financial aid:
- Support it all! – Broadly providing hope and purpose, the Holy Cross Fund strategically assists the College’s, and our students’, greatest needs.
- Financial Aid – Ensure that the life-changing education that Holy Cross provides is available and accessible to all admitted students.
- Academic Excellence – Support our students’ outstanding record of academic achievement.
- Crusader Athletics Fund for Excellence – Provide our student-athletes with exceptional experiences fostering leadership, health and wellness, and personal growth.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) – Broadly support inclusion and anti-racism as well as enhanced advocacy and racial justice initiatives at the College.
- Emergency Relief – Help meet our students’ unanticipated travel, technology and emergency financial aid needs.
- Faith and Service – Nurture our commitment to holistic personal formation, in terms of mind, body, spirit and community.
- Student Experience

- Black Student Union Student Opportunity Fund

Thank you for your support, your strength and, most of all, the incredible pride you have shown in Holy Cross. In such an unusual year, we are deeply grateful for your outpouring of support for our students.
Today, our community has shown what powers our community: hope. Over the coming days, we will be calculating our totals and look forward to sharing our final numbers.
Thank you for sharing the Power of Purple! You are the undisputed foundation of our community.

When asked, the Holy Cross community responds. You are enabling so many to succeed. You are touching so many students’ experiences on The Hill.
Thank you-– let's continue the great work! #GivePurple

Today has been amazing. You’ve already enabled so much hope!
Together, we’ve completed one challenge – raising more than $2 Million for our students. Now, help us reach 4,000 donors, and show why Holy Cross is consistently ranked top in the nation for alumni participation.
If each of the 10 youngest classes reaches 100 donors in the next four hours, an anonymous alumni couple will unlock an additional $10,000 per class – a total of $100,000 – to benefit student financial aid. #GivePurple

It's been an incredible day of support for Holy Cross students! Share that you gave. Challenge your friends. Multiply your impact. Let's continue to show the world the Power of Purple!
